THE ART OF GOLD
MY WORK IS GOLD… is the color most associated with beauty, although it also has strong links with materialism, vanity and arrogance. Today it is time to open our eyes to the color of the sun.
Gold is the attribute of goodness and goodness, which is manifested in our language with expressions like “he has a heart of gold”, when we refer to a kind person, or that “he is ground gold” when we speak of someone excellent. In German, goldig means beautiful, precious, charming, and what could not be better, is said to be godrichtig, which is pure gold.
Together with red and green, gold forms the chromatic chord of happiness, because we understand that love (red), health (green) and money (gold) are the three fundamental pillars necessary to achieve it. Although we all know (or so I believe) that money alone does not give happiness, it is the color gold that predominates in this chord, which indicates that we give it greater weight in this aspect than in the other colors.
Gold and value are inseparable concepts, and this has manifested itself repeatedly throughout history, as for example in the fact that the most famous treasure of ancient legends is the so-called golden fleece (the skin of a ram with its golden wool).
The word b-boy or b-boying is an urban culture, which began in late 1969 in the Bronx, is hip hop, as hip hop encompasses B-boying, MC, Dj and graffiti. It is the original name by which the person who dances is known (break-dance). B-girl or flygirl is also used for the female gender. The Jamaican DJ Kool Herc used this name, break-boy or bboy, although in some other parts of the world it is also known as beat-boy, to refer to the young people who came to his parties and danced during the breaks he played. The bboying is popularly known as break dance (commercial name imposed by the press, in its beginnings).
Therefore GOLDB-BOY is the art of an image plus a color plus a value that I will transmit with the force and all the meaning in the world of the art… the most beautiful work par excellence.
Gold is the color of victory and fame: in many events (especially sports) when someone wins he receives a gold medal (the most valuable). In football it is known as a golden goal the goal that directly gives the victory to the one who gets it, providing the recognition and fame, and the golden ball is the prize that is given to the best footballer of a season. Also each city, each institution, usually has a golden book in which illustrious visitors write a few words.
According to an ancient belief, gold is formed with the rays of the Sun, that is why for the Incas gold was the blood of the Sun, and the Aztecs believed that gold was excrement of the Sun God.
So with my work I’m going to introduce myself as the artist who handles gold.
GOLDB-BOY THE ARTIST WITH THE NOBLEST MATERIAL… AND THE MOST URBAN CULTURE PREPARE TO ILLUMINATE THE GALLERIES AND THE ART WORLD.
